Moisés Zamora, CEO

Born in Zapopan Jalisco (1979), graduated from Brown University with a degree in International Relations. Zamora’s creative career began with the publication of his award-winning novel, Susurros bajo el agua, in 2005 (Second Prize for the VI Premio Opera Prima de Nuevos Narradores, First Prize Premio Binacional de Novela Joven Frontera de Palabaras/Border of Words). In 2008, Zamora joined the production team of the award-winning short film, Remember me in red, as the Executive Producer and in a supporting acting role.During the same year, he began production of a feature documentary titled, Jóvenes vivos | Young + Mexican. From the documentary’s extra footage, Zamora created an 8-min experimental documentary short film titled The Thief of Things, whichpremiered at the Oaxaca International Film Festival in 2010. Zamora is currently the CEO of 10 Pesos Films in Los Angeles, production company he founded in 2008.
Gabriel Michel,

Gabriel Michel graduated from ITESO, Jesuit University of Guadalajara, with a degree in Media and Communications. He has worked as a cinematographer and post producer for Young+Mexican, 10 Pesos Films’ first feature documentary and The Thief of Things, a short documentary film. He previously worked in Azteca Mexico and Fremantlemedia Mexico for the editing and postproduction department. He is currently in charge of post production at 10 Pesos Films.
